Grads and dates/escorts may be dropped off around the loop in front of the main entrance of the
school.
Special Prom vehicles will park in the bus parking lot. Prom students driving themselves will park in
the student parking lot.
Parking for all other vehicles will be available at the Wellness Centre, Access PEI, and Hillcrest
United Church. RCMP will be present to strictly enforce parking rules.
In order to ensure the safety of all those attending the Prom events, and to allow parents and the
public to line the procession route safely, all access to the main entrance road will be cut off at 6:20
pm after which NO vehicles will be permitted to enter. Grads: This means that if you want to
participate in the procession, you must be at the school before 6:20 pm.
At 6:30 pm, the grads and dates/escorts will exit the school through the door at the teacher parking
lot entrance and proceed around to the front of the building and in through the main entrance.
There will be ample space for parents to line the procession loop in order to see everyone.
After the procession, only grads and their dates will enter the cafeteria for the dance.
Parents are invited to take lots of pictures during the procession.
There will be a photo station inside the school where students will have the option of having their
photo taken.
In case of inclement weather, a scaled-down version of the procession will take place inside the
school, for parents and guardians with “rain tickets”. Each grad will receive two “rain tickets” when
they purchase their Prom tickets.
Once students have left the school during the dance, they will not be permitted to re-enter the
building.
There will be no kit bags allowed in the school during the dance.
One last thing…
 In an effort to make the Prom a night to remember, the students of the Prom Committee
encourage students to stay until the very end so they may enjoy the company of good friends.
