Tri-Lakes Meals Ministry Survey - September 2013
It’s time to update our list of members willing to participate in our Meals Ministry here at Tri-Lakes.
This is a vital way to show compassion to members on the occasions of births, illnesses, and
funerals. Remember when you’ve been a recipient of a delicious meal, and consider this the perfect
way to share a meal with/for someone as an encouragement and help in time of need.
Options to Help:
1. Get “on board” by using Mealtrain.com. We’ll send out an email to go to the website and sign up.
All necessary information will be there, such as date/time options, address, and dietary restrictions.
2. Not a computer user? Then let us know, and we will put you on a phone call list/tree when needs
arise.
To be a part of this Meals Ministry, please complete this form and return it to one of our church
mailboxes or e-mail it back to us.

Guidelines for Sharing a Meal:
1. Consider sending food in disposable containers to avoid the need to clean/return them.
2. Consider teaming up with another family to provide the complete meal.
3. Consider having a “standard” meal that you prepare and have those items readily on hand.
4. Consider having a meal to share in your freezer ready to go.
5. Consider buying a pre-made meal. Most restaurants/grocery stores have a wide variety of
take-out foods.
6. If the Meal Train is “full,” you can still contact the family directly to bring a meal if you desire.
Most families would welcome additional support.
Thank you so much for your willingness to bless families at Tri-Lakes with meals at
significant times in their lives.
“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be
lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in
affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.”
