On 1–3 December 2016, young people up to the age of 25 from all around Europe will meet in
Gothenburg to compete for the coveted title of being the best in Europe in their chosen vocation. This
is the first time that the competition will be held in Scandinavia.
EuroSkills is Europe’s largest skills competition and aims to improve the
quality, status and attraction of vocational training. Visitors and
competitors can take part in a range of inspiring complementary events,
including try-a-skill challenges, exhibitions and seminars. The event is free
of charge.

Take part and help us take the EuroSkills event to another level where young people from around
Europe can not only compete but find inspiration and further develop their skills. Thanks to the “allunder-one-roof” concept EuroSkills 2016 in Gothenburg will give all competitors, experts and
stakeholders the perfect platform to achieve their best. We set out sights on delivering an inspiring
environment and lead the way as the example for hosting a sustainable skill competition. We look
