NW Thames Foundation School Individual Placement Description Placement F2 General Practice The department General Practice Trust & Site Various surgeries in Hemel Hempstead, St Albans and Watford area. The type of work to expect and learning opportunities The F2 will have their own regular clinics with 15-30 minute appointment times depending on experience and close monitoring. There will be home visits with other members of team, tutorials, sessions with Practice Nurses, Opticians and the Palliative care team Clinical Supervisor(s) for the placement Dependent on which GP Practice the F2 is placed at. Main duties of the placement Every day consists of seeing patients independently whether this is via an emergency surgery or a routine appointment. Typical working pattern in this Clinics Monday to Friday. placement On call requirements: No on calls and no weekend work. Employer information The Trust has undertaken a significant programme of service and estate reconfiguration in the last few years.
