Location Trainees are allocated to a practice within the North Central area Supervisor(s) Senior GP Main duties of the The F2 doctor and all other staff is responsible for the primary care of patients, safe placement prescribing of medication, keeping accurate medical records and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. It is also important to work within time constraints and manage priorities effectively. You will be encouraged to use guidelines within your practice and be actively involved in audit. You will often face ethical and legal issues and you will need to learn how to effectively deal with these, accept your limitations and involve other members of the team to ensure patient safety. You are expected to attend the structured teaching organized by the BCF Medical Education Department and any weekly tutorials with your Educational Supervisor.
