REACHING A NEW GENERATION OF ONTARIO STUDENTS THROUGH
ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
In the 2015 school year, Ontario Electronics Stewardship (OES) launched a province-wide
primary school tour for their Recycle Your Electronics Program.

The tour visited 32 schools across Ontario and engaged thousands of students with:
Interactive assemblies featuring hands-on environmental games and activities, aimed to
help students truly understand the global impact of recycling end-of-life electronics.
Curriculum-linked, grade appropriate education modules and activities that linked to
online resources to continue environmental education in the classroom for grades 4, 5, 6, 7
and 8.
THE FUTURE IS IN YOUR HANDS. DON'T LET IT GO TO WASTE.
In 2016, the Recycle Your Electronics tour will once again be travelling throughout the
province, working with eco clubs and schools, science teachers and educators looking to
make a difference in their schools and communities.

OES wants people to know that they can easily and effectively recycle their electronics. In
fact, there’s a drop off location within about 10 km of you, if you live in Ontario.
