The Chinese for Heritage Students (Book Level 1-10) courses are taught in Mandarin.
All other classes are taught mainly in English with some Chinese in accordance to the students’ understanding skill levels.
Students in the Dance and Martial Art classes may need additional funding for costumes.
Students in painting and calligraphy classes may need additional funding for materials.
Students in all classes are responsible for the cost of their textbook and practice book.
Classes run from 2pm to 5pm in Sunday afternoons. The exact time of each class will be determined after the preregistration.
Due to the classroom availability of the University Center at UTSA, the classes will run on the following 12 dates: 8/29, 9/19, 9/26, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/7,
11/14, 11/21, 12/5, and 12/12. Currently there are not enough available rooms for all classes on 10/3 and 11/21. We will notify you if this condition changes.
The first day (8/29) will also serve as open house and try-out day. The students and parents are encouraged to meet the teachers and other parents/students, and to
take this opportunity to evaluate if the classes of choice suit their learning need.
