Frozen Warp Weaving
weave said enough
Materials:
Miss Krimmer and Miss Smith
College of Mount Saint Joesph
 3 yards cotton string
(cut into 3 one yard
strands)
 1-cup Elmer’s glue
Procedure:
 12-inch sheet of
freezer wrap
1. Submerge one yard of
 Open
cotton string into a bowl of
bowl/container (for
Elmer’s glue; pressing
glue)
down with a popsicle stick
 Popsicle stick
to avoid a mess
 9 yards yarn
2. Lift the string out of the
bowl squeezing off extra
glue.
3. In order to create the
warp: lay submersed
string horizontally and
vertically on top of itself,
into an organic grid.
4. Repeat with other strands
of string
5. Let dry over night until the
warp hardens
