2012: Spent most of the season with High-A Salem and was a Carolina League mid- and post-Season AllStar…Promoted to Portland to start August.
 Combined to bat .287 (133-for-464) with 44 2B, 3 3B, 19 HR, 85 RBI, 80 BB, 82 runs, and 12 SB between the
Salem Sox and Sea Dogs.
 Led Red Sox minor leaguers in doubles and finished among organizational leaders in RBI (2nd) and HR (T-4th).
 Began the year with Salem and placed 3rd among High-A qualifiers with a .957 OPS.
 Led the CL with a .411 OBP and .545 SLG, while ranking among league leaders in AVG (4th, .305), XBH (T-2nd,
50), RBI (4th, 73), BB (3rd, 59), and AB/HR (3rd, 22.1).
 Went a combined 5-for-8 (.625) with the bases loaded, including a grand slam on 5/9 vs. Potomac.

2011: In his 1st pro season, led Short-A Lowell with 36 RBI and 34 BB and ranked 2nd with 13 2B, 8 HR, and 33
runs.
 Also ranked among team leaders in games (T-3rd, 57) and hits (T-2nd, 53).
 Named the New York-Penn League Batter of the Week for 6/27-7/3 after setting a Spinners single-game record with
10 total bases (4-for-4, 3 2B, HR, 5 RBI, 2 BB, 3 R) on 7/2 at Connecticut.
 Placed on the DL on 8/1 with a left shoulder strain and returned on 8/12.
 Transferred to Single-A Greenville on 9/4 with 2 games left in the season.



PERSONAL
Hit .307 (75-for-244) with a conference-leading 14 HR and posted a .553 SLG and 51 RBI in 62 games at Kent
State University in 2011…Named to the All-MAC 1st-Team in 2011 and 2nd-Team in 2010.
His father, Jeff, pitched parts of 12 ML seasons from 1990-2001.
Selected by Boston in the 32nd round of the 2008 June Draft but did not sign.
In the Community
Travis was involved in local community outreach through his participation in the Red Sox 2014 Rookie Development
program, including visiting Boston Children’s Hospital and painting murals at the McKinley Middle School in Boston with
members of the Red Sox Scholars program.
