Interinstitutional Committees

There are eight inter-institutional committees that provide for regular interactions and act in an advisory capacity for Bellin College. Below is a synopsis of each committee’s purpose, functions, and membership.

To provide administrative oversight regarding the implementation of the

Agreement and the Operational Plan with the University of Wisconsin-Green

Bay (UWGB).

Maintain a current letter of agreement and operational plan.

Ensure that policies and procedures support the agreement and operational plan.

Exchange information regarding course scheduling needs.

To act in an advisory capacity related to the College’s curricula involving general education courses and issues.

Make recommendations about the general education requirements as

 they relate to the curriculum.

Discuss the impact of planned general education curriculum changes in the curriculum.

Exchange information about course content as it supports the curriculum.

Facilitate course scheduling.

Facilitate communication between undergraduate and graduate programs and course opportunities.

To act in an advisory capacity to/from Bellin College’s Student Services and the

University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s (UWGB) student services departments.

Exchange information about student services offered by Bellin College and

UWGB which provides the liberal education components of the curriculum.

Make recommendations regarding student services.

Annually review the Financial Aid Consortium agreement.

Serve as a mechanism for the exchange of information between Bellin College programs, and affiliated clinical agencies.

Share information about programs, curriculum, faculty, and students.

 Discuss the effect of curriculum changes on student progression and graduate outcomes.

Share information related to affiliating clinical agencies or groups that have an impact on program offerings.

Discuss potential/actual graduate placement statistics.

Act in an advisory capacity to the MSN Program and serve as a mechanism for the exchange of information between the nursing program and advisory committee.

Share information about the MSN Program, curriculum, faculty, and students.
