Parents are taking a more visible role in the school are helping
making copies and making plans for more involvement
Reader’s Raise the Roof – conducted by parents and attended by
parents and families
Readers Raise the Roof – Great Turn out for the Raise the Roof event –
positive feedback from the surveys conducted afterwards about 200+ people
attended. This event was successful in so many ways: Collaboration


between teachers, parents, and community. Our school goal is to
develop a tight-knit community centered school; parents were
engaged in the activity learning how to read with their children
utilizing the reading comprehension strategies.
Walk and roll to school – Presbyterian selected Parkview to engage
in their Day of Service. Presbyterian staff, Parkview staff and
parents met at 7:30 on Thursday Oct 24th at Sedillo Park to “Walk to
School.”
