Artist who works and lives in Norway.
Born in Iraq – Baghdad 1968.
Teacher of ceramic art- works with UDI.
Teacher of ceramic art –Baghdad Art Institute, 2000 until 2008.
Bachelor of Fine Arts, Ceramic Department, College of Fine Arts, Baghdad University 99.
Diploma of Fine Arts, Fine Arts Institute - Baghdad 1990.
Member of Norwegian Association for Arts and Crafts.
Member of Oslo Fine Art Society.
Member of Iraqi Artists Union, the general domicile.
Member of Iraqi Artists Society.
Member of the Iraqi Calligraphists Society.
Member of Try International Organization for Fine Arts.
He received many international awards in international festivals and biennials.
Held Ceramic workshops in Rome Academy – Italy 2005.
Held Ceramic workshops in Jester Betty Library for the public, Dublin –Ireland 2007.
Received an invitation from Bruckner Ceramic Institute – Geneva – Switzerland to hold
many workshops presenting his art journey 2008.
Carried out many creative workshops with children and youths in many Arab and
International places.
His works is displayed in many museums and official institutions, in Arab and foreign
countries, also his works are owned by art collectors.
Known for his distinguished style in emphasizing the beauty of the Arabic letter, by
combining the heritage with the modernism.
His graduation project was one of the biggest projects that were done by fictile sculpture,
with the height of three meters and a half.
Selected on various occasions to furnish murals and art works governmental and private
buildings in Iraq and the UAE.
