The centre of Ticehurst is 10 minute walk, the nearest large town is
Tunbridge Wells which is 15 miles away it is a 30 minute drive
A bus service is available from the bus stop at the bottom of the main drive which is a 2 minute walk parts of which are very steep.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
All guests should use the main entrance; there are some steps or a tarmac slope.
The main entrance has a manual revolving door and one manual door to the side.
There is a drop off point directly in front of the main doors which is for dropping off and picking up only, cars must not be left unattended
Valet parking is available on request
The car park is located directly opposite the main entrance and we have parking for 220 cars there are 5 designated for disabled guests, these are located close to the main entrance.
If you need assistance with luggage, equipment or guidance members of our team are available 24 hours
Main Entrance & Reception
The front desk is on the left hand side when entering the main entrance
There are two sitting areas in reception
There is an area of the reception desk that is 110cm high where registration can be completed whilst sitting and we have clipboards available
Reception staff will be able to brief guests of our evacuation policy
To the right of reception is a lift to all floors which gives access to the restaurant and first floor bedrooms. There is also a staircase on the left
hand side which gives access to the first floor.
The floor surface in reception is part tiles and has a carpeted central area.
Public Areas – General (Internal)
Public telephones are located in the Club House Bar to the right of reception
All lifts have tactile buttons

There are two sets of public toilets. One on the ground floor corridor leading to the bedrooms. One on the first floor corridor leading to the bedrooms.
Both sets of toilets have a unisex accessible toilet.
The accessible toilets provide: Emergency Alarm pull cord, Flashing light when fire alarm sounds, Floor is non slip, vertical rails on either side of basins and toilets, there is a horizontal rail on the side opposite transfer from toilet, there are lever taps on sinks
Restaurant, Bars and Lounges
The nearest accessible toilets to the Lounge and Club House Bar are the ones located on the ground floor corridor to the bedrooms
The nearest accessible toilets to the Restaurant are the ones located on the first floor corridor to the bedrooms
There is a Lounge situated directly in front of the lobby area, it has level access and is open plan with carpet flooring. Seating is mixed between couches and chairs and all tables are low coffee tables. Table service is offered. Lighting is mainly natural daylight from large windows overlooking the garden and golf course. Evenly distributed lights are on when required
The Club House Bar is situated on the right hand side of the lobby on the ground floor. It has level access and is open plan with carpet flooring.
Seating is mixed between couches and chairs and tables are mixed between low coffee tables and tables at dining height with a central column.
Table service is offered as well as traditional counter service. Lighting is mainly natural daylight from large windows overlooking the garden and golf course. Evenly distributed lights are on when required.
The Wealden View Restaurant is located on the first floor and is accessible from the lift in the hotel lobby. Menus are available in large print on request.
The restaurant is table service only with exception of breakfast where there is a buffet however the staff will assist any guests who may require help.
Lighting is mainly natural daylight from large windows overlooking the golf course whilst evening lighting is lower
The 18th Restaurant is located on the first floor and is only accessible via stairs from the Club House Bar. Seating is upright chairs tables at dining height with a central column.Table service is offered as well as traditional counter service. Lighting is mainly natural daylight from large windows overlooking the garden and golf course. Evenly distributed lights are on when required.
Laundry
Laundry service and dry cleaning is offered. Bags are available in bedrooms.
Golf Pro Shop
Is accessible from the main car park it has a level entrance
Although open plan it has a number of free standing displays with clothing, shoes and golf hardware
All purchases are made through the till in the shop, hotel guests are able to charge items to their rooms
Leisure Facilities
There is a swimming pool, sauna and gym available for guest use between
7.30am and 9pm
There are changing facilities however these are limited for guests who have accessibility requirements
Pool access is via graduated steps.
The pool is at one depth through out
The Gym is accessed through double doors. The equipment includes, cycling machine, running machine, rowing machine, cross trainer, free weights and exercise equipment.
Golf Courses and golf locker rooms
We have two 18 hole golf courses on site the Ian Woosnam designed course and the Dale Hill course
Electric buggies are available
The Ian Woosnam designed course has a buggy path around the whole course and buggies can be used throughout the year
Both courses have steep slopes in numerous places
The Dale Hill course does not have a buggy path and buggy use is limited to the summer only
The locker rooms are open plan with some low level seating and lockers are available at various heights.
Each locker room has toilets and shower facilities

Conference & Meeting Rooms, Banqueting
We have 2 main conference rooms which are located on the first floor and can be accessed via lifts and staircase. The first room is called the Fairway room which is on the first floor next to the Wealden View Restaurant this can be accessed via the lift and stairs from the reception area. The second room the Dale Hill Suites is accessed via the main car park it has it’s own lobby area with a lift and a staircase to the first floor which is where the room is located.
All conference and banqueting rooms are accessed by double doors
Lighting is even but can be dimmed by individual conference organisers by sections
Please notify the organisers in advance if any additional services are required
The nearest accessible toilet for the Fairway Room is located in the bedroom corridor on the first floor
The nearest accessible toilet for the Dale Hill Suites are located in the corridor outside of the golf changing areas

We have a set evacuation procedure for basic information - Alarm bells are a continuous alarm. Someone will come to your room and assist with evacuation either out of the building or to a refuge. We have safe lifts. All staff have regular training
All housekeeping staff have been trained and are aware of procedures to aid privacy in bedrooms.
There is good network coverage for mobile phones within the hotel and average coverage from hotel bedrooms. All networks work.
