CHUMs tutoring is Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 6-8pm
This week’s presenters were Paula, Anne, and Patrick from Zeeco. Zeeco specializes in
designing and manufacturing burners, flare systems, and incineration systems. Zeeco is based in
Tulsa Oklahoma and was founded by John Zinc. Zeeco maintains a very strong global presence
as they have many offices and customers world wide.




Burners – retrofitting old burners as well as designing and manufacturing new ones to
meet emissions requirements. Burners desire to minimize CO and NOX emissions.
Flare systems – used to manage small volumes of waste gas that cannot be easily and
efficiently recycled in the process system
Incineration systems – burn larger volumes of continuous waste streams
Interning at Zeeco – most interns get to take an international trip to visit an office
overseas. Interns also get to work on projects that have real application and value for the
company.
