or four-year college!! Seniors who have a
2.75 GPA or higher and will have a gap
between what they need to pay for college
expenses and the funds they have available
to them should consider applying

10th, 2014 – no exceptions!
From the Scholarships, Inc. home page,
seniors should click on “2014 Scholarship
Applications Available Here” to begin the
application process. Then, they will need
to click on "Sign Up" to create an
account. It is important students submit a
personal email address that is solely their
own – not a family email. If there is any
evidence the student was not the person who
completed the application, the application
will be disqualified. If there are any
questions during the application process, all
questions should be directed to Jennifer at
Scholarships, Inc. Her phone number is
920-857-9088. Her email is
jallen@scholarshipsinc.org. Jennifer will
only accept questions from students, not
parents or guardians, to ensure the student
takes ownership in the process and learns
advocacy skills.
All seniors completing a Scholarships, Inc.
application will be required to upload a
Student Aid Report (SAR) to the online
application after completing the Free
Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. We
encourage families to complete the FAFSA
as soon as possible once 2013 tax returns are
filed to determine eligibility for state and
federal student aid. Seniors who apply to
Scholarships, Inc. will be asked to enter
email addresses for their
recommenders. PLEASE make sure these
emails are accurate before submitting, or the
recommender will not receive
(Scholarships, Inc. Continued)
notification. As a reminder, students need
to read the directions carefully with this
application, because if everything is not
submitted completely and successfully by
April 10th, their application will be
disqualified. Student applicants are also
responsible for checking online to ensure all
of their recommenders have submitted their
information prior to the due date.
Please visit the Preble Career Center for

JUNIOR/SOPHOMORE INFORMATION
MY EDUCATION, MY WAY (FOR JUNIORS)
Juniors will be participating in a program called "My Education, My Way" on Friday, February
21st. This program will be conducted all day and parents are welcome to attend. Juniors will be
coming down with their social studies class to hear three different representatives talk about the
different post-secondary educational options after high school. There will be a representative
from NWTC, UW-Green Bay, and St. Norbert to discuss the characteristics of each choice. My
Education, My Way will help juniors prepare for their Individualized Planning Conferences
(IPC’s) that will be held starting February 24th.
JUNIOR/PARENT/COUNSELOR MEETINGS
In February, all parents and guardians of juniors will be invited to participate in an Individual
Planning Conference or IPC. Parents and guardians of juniors will meet with their guidance
counselors to review transcripts and discuss post high school plans. These conferences will assist
parents and their children to prepare for their futures whether they are going into the world of
work, military, technical, or four-year colleges. This will be a great opportunity for parents and
juniors to start planning for their senior year and beyond.
