Social Media Manager Job Description Ferrero USA, a leading global confectionery manufacturer with a strong track record of innovations and a great reputation for the quality of its products, is looking for a Social Media Manager. The job will be located in our Somerset, NJ office. Responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of strategic social media and digital initiatives including developing and managing viral marketing campaigns, creating and supervising high-profile channel accounts, and integrating interactive media into the overall media plan and business strategy. Other duties may include search engine optimization / search engine marketing (SEO / SEM) integration, monitoring and analysis of social media trends and their impact on the company’s brands, and supervision of external teams. The right candidate will have a degree in communications, marketing or related field; 8+ years of marketing, agency or public relations experience (including demonstrable social networking experience); previous experience in the development and implementation of media planning and buying strategies within the advertising industry; and a strong familiarity of online marketing best practices. Be able to develop and execute digital objectives, budgets, plans, negotiations, content, development, KPIs and measurement plans. 2. Develop Clear and Measurable Objectives. Qualifications and Experience Bachelors Degree Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience. Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media (Give links as examples).
