Dr. Jeremy C. Johnson graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1998 where he was honored with the Compassionate Physician Award. In his junior year of medical school, Dr.
Johnson was awarded membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Society for distinguished academic accomplishment.
Dr. Johnson completed his Internship and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Carolinas
Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Johnson was actively involved in research and shared the responsibility of team physician for the Charlotte Sting (WNBA). Dr.
Johnson's residency was followed by a year of fellowship training. At the Southern California
Orthopaedic Institute he specialized in sports medicine and the arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder with an emphasis on minimally invasive procedures. During his fellowship training, Dr. Johnson completed numerous research projects and acted as team physician for many high school and college sports teams.
Dr. Johnson is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, as well as a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Hart Family Practice
Dr. Eric Hart has been a private practicing, general medicine physician in Hickory, NC since
1992. Prior to 1992 he was Founder and Director of Unifour Urgent Care and the Medical
Director for Industrial Health of N.C. Dr Hart received his undergraduate degree at
University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and then went on to graduate with honors from
The University of North Carolina School of Medicine. His residency was completed at the
University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Family Medicine.
He has many ties to the community and belongs to such organizations as Ducks Unlimited
Committee member, he coaches for the AAU and Grandview Middle School Basketball teams, he is a member of the Catawba Valley Basketball Association and is a part-time faculty member for Lenoir-Rhyne University.
He resides in Hickory with his wife Margaret and his two daughters Rebecca and Abigail and his son Robert.

Dr. John McAllister enjoys dentistry and is pleased to provide his patients with the most comfortable and advanced dental treatments possible.
Dr. McAllister is a member of several national professional associations, is a board member of the Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry and he and his staff volunteer for community dental service projects. Dr. McAllister regularly attends continuing education courses fulfilling many times the required educational standards each year to bring his patients the best dentistry has to offer.
After eight years as a Physical Therapist and the Director of Rehabilitation
Services at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, NC, Dr. McAllister attended dental school at UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated with honors and distinction. Dr.
McAllister then returned to his hometown of Hickory, NC to serve the dental needs of his community.
Dr. McAllister’s office, McAllister Dentistry, is a new, modern facility that is conveniently located in the Viewmont area of Hickory near the Lenoir-Rhyne campus.

Our practice was established in Hickory to provide the highest quality orthodontic care possible for people of all ages, based on each individual’s wants and needs.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the
University of Notre Dame, Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in Dentistry from the University of Maryland. I served an internship in Oral Surgery at the
University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore and received a Master of Dental
Science degree in Orthodontics from the University of Pittsburgh. I also spent two years in the U.S. Air Force as an Oral Surgeon.
I am a member of NC Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of
Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental
Association, the NC Dental Society, The Western Piedmont Dental Society, and the Catawba County Dental Society. I have served as a Director on the Board of the Southern Association of Orthodontist for eight years and as the President in
2000-2001. I have also served as treasure secretary, and president of the NC
Association of Orthodontists.
