WHY USE A QUILTING SERVICE?
Please rest assured that the love and care
which you have already devoted to your
quilt top will be continued here, as I help
you create a beautifully finished piece!
For decades, individual quilters have
labored for months or years, or relied on
quilting bees, to produce fine quality
finished quilts.
Although these methods are still in use,
many quilt lovers are too busy with work,
home, and recreational activities to devote
the time needed to finish their pieces.
Others just want to piece their next project!
I worked in a local needlework shop for
many years, and love needlework of all
types. Quilting, by far, is my favorite
passion. I have sewn since I was a little girl,
and I began quilting more than 20 years
ago. I am so BLESSED to be able to do
what I love and get paid for it!
Custom Level II
My longarm quilting machine is a Gammill
Classic Plus, fondly named “Sophie”. I have
been in the longarm quilting business since
fall 2007. All of my work is freehand,
sometimes with the aid of templates. I do
not have a computerized machine, because I
enjoy the ability to add an artistic touch to
the quilts I work on. No cookie cutter
quilting for me. 
Heavy Custom
Professional machine quilters, with stateof-the-art, high precision machinery, can
accomplish in just a few hours the amount
of work which took weeks to achieve by
hand-with consistently high quality and at a
reasonable cost.
Your time is valuable, and our service
leaves you time to make more quilts!

Preparation Tips
*The three layers of your quilt will be
loaded on the machine independently of
each other. Please do not pin or baste them
together.
*Please clip all threads. Stray threads may
show through lighter fabrics.
*The batting and backing should measure at
least eight inches longer and eight inches
wider than your quilt top. For example, if
your quilt measures 60” x 82”, the batting
and backing should measure at least 68” x
90”.

Longarm Machine Quilting
*Press your quilt top. There will be an
additional charge for ironing if I need to do
it.
*Bed sheets are not suitable for backings
due to their high thread count affecting
machine performance.
*Backing needs to be squared up. There
will be an additional charge if I need to do
this.
*If there is a definite top to your quilt top,
and you think I might not recognize it,
please mark it.
*Please be sure your quilt is free of pet hair
BE AWARE:
Fullness or puckers CANNOT BE
“quilted out.” They may result in tucks.
