Postdoctoral Fellowship)
Postdoctoral fellowship in clinical health psychology/behavioral medicine, including clinical work and
research focused on psychiatric comorbidity in medical conditions. Clinical duties included assessment
and cognitive-behavioral treatment of adults with chronic headache and comorbid Axis I
psychopathology, as well as psychiatrist-referred patients with depressive and anxiety disorders. Also
served as Associate Director for the UMC Head Pain Center.

program. Assessment included comprehensive psychological evaluations (clinical interview, MSE,
intelligence and achievement tests, personality measures, and self-report measures) regarding severe
behavioral problems, sexual offenses, and abuse/neglect. Therapy services included weekly individual
therapy and group therapy.

Provided brief interventions for substance abuse using principles of motivational interviewing and harm

included structured diagnostic interviews (SCID, ADIS-IV) and intake interviews, intelligence and
