The Town provides various promotional opportunities – some at cost, some for free - for festivals, events, not for profit groups,
charities, and business events. Access to these resources is managed by Town staff.

Almonte Arena Outdoor Sign
The outdoor mobile sign at the Almonte Arena can be used at a cost of $40 per week or $100 per month. For more information, or

Street Banner
The Town provides banner poles, located on Ottawa Street, for banner installations promoting civic charitable or communityoriented events. Banners will be installed for a minimum of one week, according to availability. Banners must meet specific
requirements for size and construction, and organizations must have appropriate commercial general liability insurance. Approval of
banner content and design, and scheduling of installations, is managed by Town staff. There is a per-usage cost of $150 to cover
installation, which is performed by Almonte Hydro. For more information, including complete requirements and banner

Literature Racks
The Recreation and Culture Department at the Almonte Old Town Hall, 14 Bridge Street, provides a literature rack for distribution of
printed marketing collateral. There is no cost for placement. Contact bostrom@mississippimills.ca or call (613) 256-1077 x. 21.
Public Notices
The Town of Mississippi Mills sends emails to members of their Public Notices news mailing group. Users can select to receive
Cultural Updates (events, festivals, etc.), Public Notices (meetings, etc.) or both. Events and festivals can send information to
info@mississippimills.ca for circulation to subscribers, at no cost.
