credit in every course. Students may fail the class for the semester in any
course, when reaching a total of 12 excused/unexcused absences and after
school-documented interventions have been exhausted. Appeals must be
submitted in writing to the Principal’s office. A process will be in force to ensure
parents are notified and interventions are implemented to support student
learning and success.

Being in class in your seat on time is the way to avoid being marked tardy. Students
are marked tardy if they are not seated after the final bell. If students are tardy for
more than 25 minutes they are marked absent. Students who are marked tardy will
lose participation points for the day. More than three tardies will result in disciplinary
action.
