ART
If you would like to help art class get off to a fine start this year – they could use the following donations. This is strictly
voluntary. Some of the items you may have at home or there are lots of GOOD DEALS at office supply stores and
Walmart.
Paper Towels, Paper or Styrofoam bowls, plates, cups – all colors, aluminum foil, wax paper, black Sharpies (This is one of
our most used items!), baggies, new boxes of markers (This is our most used item), pencils, boxes of colored pencils, white
cardstock, Clorox surface wipes, Pencil Sharpener, etc.
We study 3 cultures and 1 time period in art. If you have any art items that would be West African (masks, Kente or
Andinkra cloth, or other African artifacts), Native American (clothing, artifacts like pottery, masks ), Appalachian (quilts,
wooden carvings, or folk art) , or Colonial America (pieces of silver or needlework like samplers). Anything else you have –
just ask.
