You are eligible to apply if you are an excellent student and…
• Will be enrolled as a full-time, in-state, undergraduate at Sac State
in Spring 2016.
• Are an undergraduate with a declared major in Economics
• Have completed at least 15 units at Sac State with 9 upper division
units in Economics
• Demonstrate financial need
• Have a minimum Sac State GPA of 3.3 or higher, plus a GPA of
3.5 or better in upper division economics courses through Spring
2015, and good academic standing
Submit Scholarship application to the
Economics Department Office in Tahoe Hall, Room 3028.

Overall minimum Sac State GPA of 3.3 or higher, plus a GPA of 3.5 or better in
upper division economics courses through Spring 2015, and good academic
standing.
Electronic submissions will not be accepted
This completed application and the following documents must be received in the Economics
Department Office (Tahoe Hall 3028) no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, November 6, 2015.
1. At least one letter of recommendation either from a professor in any discipline, an
economics professor, a high school teacher or someone who can attest to your academic
ability.
2. A statement, not exceeding one single spaced page, indicating your interest in your major
and your plans for the future.
3. Attach an unofficial copy of your Sac State transcript.
