Establish strategic direction, priorities and goals for the overall strategic enrollment management unit making data-informed proposals and decisions and linking budgets and expenditures to measurable outcomes while seeking both standard and creative ways to achieve enrollment goals. Work with Institutions leadership to envision and strengthen a future centralized admissions office that recruits a diverse student population, fostering a culture of openness and inclusion. Utilize technology and innovation to enhance the strategic enrollment management processes and services to students that enhance the experience of the educational life cycle of students at the institution. Work collaboratively to with Institutional Research in order to affectively, analyze, and produce regular business intelligence reports on the Institutions enrollment and retention data, resulting in the development of action plans to increase/correct any trend analysis. Analyze the enrollment landscape for your institution and develop a recruitment plan to help reach your enrollment goals. This includes utilizing search tools to develop a prospect base (such as PSAT and AP), conducting outreach visits to high schools and community colleges, selecting appropriate recruitment fairs both in and out of state- including international, and identifying opportunities to deploy students, faculty, alumni and other potential recruiters. 2. Develop marketing material to promote the institution and its programs. This could include general search pieces, viewbooks, program and department information in both hard copy and web formats. 3. Create a communications plan that provides prospective students with appropriate messages at specific points in the admissions decision cycle. Collaborate with other departments and academic units to insure a consistent flow of communications from the point of inquiry through arrival on campus and registration. 4. Understand social media and develop strategies to integrate it into your recruitment and communications plan. 5. Develop speeches and presentations that highlight your institution and encourage students to enroll. These should include a variety of formats that can be delivered to students, parents, counselors, and others, from individual and small group settings to large assemblies. 6.
