Objectives
SWBAT complete a
communicative activity with
their partners, which
reviews times & names.
SWBAT use their listening skills to first
listen to, then watch a music video from
Die Fantastischen Vier that reviews the
German Alphabet through the use of
German and English acronyms.
*We will first listen to the song MfG by
Die Fantastischen Vier
---Students will be asked to write down
any of the acronyms they heard and
recognized.
*We will then watch the video, and
students will be able to see if any of
their acronyms were in there, or if
there are others they know.
*We will then discuss some of the
acronyms and their importance in the
German culture.
*Students will then complete a spelling
quiz
SWBAT use their new vocabulary to play
a game of hangman.
SWBAT recite the 5th
part of their poem,
Gefunden.
*We will first review the vocabulary for
classroom objects using the PPT from
back in September.
*We will then go through the new
vocabulary about school subjects with
another PowerPoint – practicing
pronunciation as we do.
*Students will then get into teams to
play Hangman with the new vocabulary.
*Students will come
up to recite their
poem, when not
reciting, they should
be working
individually, reading
about the
educational system
in Germany and
answering questions
about the reading. It
is due at the end of
the hour.
*When students
come up to recite
their poem, they
should bring their
vocab with to be
checked.
