RTW PlaceRite® – Alternative Return-To-Work Network Workers’ compensation claims do not get better with time. The longer an injured employee is off work, the less likely he or she will recover from the injury. Most employers find it quite challenging to accommodate all injured employees with restrictions, so RTW, Inc. has developed a solution called RTW PlaceRite to assist with return-to-work challenges. RTW PlaceRite® is a unique, safe and highly effective return-to-work solution designed to provide temporary transitional light duty work for injured employees with restrictions, in situations where the employer is unable to accommodate the injured employee. RTW PlaceRite® is a national network of not-for-profit organizations that act as an extension of the employer’s return-to-work program. RTW PlaceRite® is designed to keep the injured employee active with the ultimate goals of shortening the disability duration and getting the injured employee back to their full-duty position, all while providing meaningful work and giving back to the community. Results: 92% of injured workers benefits were ended within one week of referral 94% placement success rate Average indemnity claim is reduced by 28 days. Transitional duty assignments located within 1-7 business days Assignments usually end within 90 days How employers benefit from RTW PlaceRite: Reduces workers compensation costs/premium Demonstrates concern for the injured workers Positive public relations and community tax credits Supplement or Substitute for in-house return to work program How to get started? The process is very easy. Begin by going to (or clicking a link depending on website layout) www.rtwi.com/placerite and create a user profile. An email with a username and password will be immediately emailed to you. Login and complete the simple RTW PlaceRite® Referral Form. Once you have submitted a referral, just click submit and our team will work on identifying a not-forprofit organization that can accommodate the injured employee’s restrictions within the statemandated criteria. What happens next? Once we’ve identified an appropriate return-to-work option we will provide and send the sample job offer letter to the employer or TPA to be forwarded to the injured employee. But that’s not all you receive, we will also provide time cards and driving directions from the injured employee’s home to the not-for-profit location. RTW will also conduct an attendance call to the not-for-profit on the first day and subsequent followup calls every two weeks. Placements are identified for most injured employees within 1-7 business days of the referral being made. Additionally, we can add locations to our network based on the employer’s needs at no additional charge.
