What will the impact be?
The recent ITP programme delivered at High View has already demonstrated a huge
impact, with an 83% success rate at turning satisfactory teachers into good! The whole
school will benefit from teachers who are enthusiastic, motivated and have a desire to
drive standards through effective teaching and learning and ensure progress.
Feedback from the course has been incredibly positive:
“A really positive, welcoming and non-threatening working atmosphere – a really
positive course!”
“Fantastic work, excellent delivery with lots to focus on”
“Renewed and reawakened awareness of what is good and essential T&L”
“I was sceptical at first but it has been the most positive experience (training) in a long
time!”
“Observations were brilliant, actually ‘seeing’ and understanding outstanding practice”
What will the impact be?
Having completed this programme teachers will be highly skilled in being reflective
practitioners, thinking carefully and critically about their own practice and developing
ideas, strategies and styles of teaching that would further benefit their classes. The end
result will be strong teachers who are at the centre of driving standards and rates of
progress at a whole school level, who are able to effectively contribute to developing a
school’s vision for outstanding teaching and learning.
Feedback from the course has been incredibly positive:
“I would just like to thank Chloe and Jen personally for your input during the course. Our
staff have been very positive about your delivery, content and the use of your school as
a model to see best practice. The course has had a positive impact in a number of
ways.” (DHT)
“Thank you very much. I have thoroughly enjoyed the course. It has helped me to think
critically about my practice.”
“‘Very thought provoking – REFLECTIVE. Thank you!”
For both courses, it is recommended that a minimum number of 2 participants
from each school are required. This is to ensure collaborative working, an
effective support network and partner delivery to enable an impact on teaching
and learning to be had back in their own schools.
