AIRED:
THE EAST COAST TOOK A HIT TODAY WHEN THE MOST POWERFUL EARTHQUAKE
IN ALMOST 70 YEARS TOOK PLACE. THE SHAKES WERE FELT FROM AS LOW AS
SOUTH CAROLINA ALL THE WAY PAST NEW YORK. SAM BRAUER FROM RADFORD
UNIVERSITY FELT THE EARTHQUAKE.

<< I saw my computer screen shaking and then I looked out and saw the sodas in the
soda machine shaking. Everything was moving around me and then I poked my head
out and said ‘Was that an earthquake?’ People started evacuating and I was waiting
on my boss to see what he wanted to do and we didn’t have to leave.>>
NO DEATHS WERE REPORTED AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE AND NO MAJOR DAMAGE
HAS BEEN SEEN.
