Arrival
Barn will be open at 3:00 pm on the Friday before the show. Stalls will be assigned and labelled, please
see entry form for stabling costs. Stabling is very limited. There will be no Hay available to purchase.
Bags of shavings will be available at $8.00 a bag, they must be pre ordered on entries.
Attire
Competitors must be neatly dressed in English attire for English classes or Western attire for Western
classes. This is NOT a schooling show. Black half chaps may be worn for English riders. ASTM or BSI
approved helmets MUST be worn by all riders at all times.

Entries are due by May 15, 2015. The entry form should be filled out and mailed or emailed to:

All entries must be paid for in full before being accepted. If emailing entries please send a cheque via
mail or e-transfer to the email listed above. Please make all cheque make payable to Ace Ranch. Late
entries will be charged $25 per entry. In event of cancellation of an entry a vet’s certificate must be
presented, Admin fees will not be refunded.
Liability
It is to be understood that neither Ace Ranch, WSDAC, the show committee, judges, volunteers or
manager shall be in any way liable for any accident, injury, damage or loss that may happen, from any
cause or circumstances whatsoever, to competitors or anyone on the ground during the competition or
to any animal or property brought on show grounds or for any loss, claim, matter, circumstance or event
in connection with or arising out of or attributable to the show or any journey to and from the show.
Acknowledgement of Risk form must be sign by all riders before they ride.
Numbers
All competitors will receive a set of numbers for each horse a deposit of $20 will be refunded if
returned. Competitors are welcome to use their own numbers, please indicate on entries if you choose
to use your own. Numbers must be worn at all times, including warm ups.
Practise Area and Schooling Hours
Schooling will only be permitted in the indoor arena, paid warm ups in the show ring are available on
the entry form. Friday evening from 4-8 or Saturday am 6:30 to 7:30. Warm ups are $20 for half an
hour block (can be shared), this must be paid before you ride. Please specify the times you want on
entry from.
Prize Money
To be eligible for prize money and awards you must have shown at two of the three shows in the series
to qualify. Prize money and championships will be presented on Sept 7th, 2015. You must be in
attendance to receive awards.

Classes with 3 entries or less can be cancelled at the discretion of the show committee
No smoking in barn or arena
No pets
No lunging in warm up arena or near show ring during show hours
Any exhibitor not ready to enter the show ring when called will be allowed a period of 2 minutes
and then will be eliminated.
The order of go will be posted and emailed the week of the show.
The show committee reserves the right to itself, to refuse, limit, accept conditionally, or to
cancel awarded prizes; to change any ring or official, to reschedule classes, after due notice to
exhibitors.
Abuse or inhumane treatment of a horse will not be tolerated. Any unsportsmanlike conduct
will also not be tolerated. Above actions might result in removal from show.
The judge should not be approached and issues can be taken to the show committee.
Medical volunteers will be in attendance. ABSOLUTLY NO RIDING outside of schooling and show
hours.
Only 60 tests will be offered per day. Limit of two tests per discipline per horse/rider
combination
Western Dressage classes will follow the rules of WSDAC, you can visit their website for rules
and tests.
We are offering High Point Thoroughbred awards for each show and for the entire series.
Eligibility: Only Thoroughbreds that have been registered with The Jockey Club or a foreign
Thoroughbred stud book recognized by The Jockey Club are eligible to participate in T.I.P.
classes and awards. Riders and owners should obtain a T.I.P. number for all horse/rider
combinations. T.I.P. number applications are done online at www.tjctip.com. T.I.P. numbers
must be provided to the horse show.
