This tramway has some interesting cuttings and alignments on the lower sections and involves a car shuttle to access. The
line has always been a bit overgrown and its present state unknown. I plan to explore the furthest part of the line also,
which has been very overgrown for years, so thick scrub will be part of the walk with gaiters recommended. There is also
an off-track section. The forest is typical Mountain Ash country and magnificent to walk in.

of the Surf Coast walk to the track down to the Jarosite (Red ochre) mine site. Then we follow some of the Aboriginal
Heritage Walk to Pt Addis itself, averting the gaze if the Optional Clothing beach is busy, or joining in if the weather’s hot.
From Pt Addis, we make a circuit to Anglesea along the beach and on the track on top of the cliffs, past Eumeralla Scout
camp. Tides dictate which way we travel. We will leave a car at Pt Addis to avoid the climb back up the hill. There are

The track into the Canyon is scrambly and narrow, but becomes a formed track after that first part. Although autumn is not
necessarily the best time to visit waterfalls, there could be a fair flow over them. Much of the walk is in creek valleys, so
damp green conditions should be expected. Option to camp previous night.
