Box 1561 Higley, AZ 85236 Phone: 480-251-0348 Fax: 480-659-2887 Email: awsdir2013@gmail.com Web: www.americanwarmblood.org APPROVED FOR BREEDING STALLIONS AND MARES THE BENEFITS AND REQUIREMENTS BENEFITS: There are major opportunities that are offered for our “Approved for breeding stallions and mares of current members in good standings as follows; One-time fee for lifetime “Approval for Breeding” designation Listed on the americanwarmblood.org website under “Approved for Breeding Stallions” at no charge as long as the stallion is still standing at stud and member is in good standing Eligible to donate breeding(s) to the AWS Annual Stallion Auction for extra coverage and promotional opportunities Entry into the Five Star Program at no extra charge Approved for Breeding Requirements: Stallions and mares that are over 3 years of age or older Stallions must have both testicles descended (no cryptorchidism or monorchidism) Any proven genetic anomaly may disqualify stallions or mares for Approved for Breeding designation One or more of the following requirements must be met before applying for all Approved for Breedings Stallions or Mares: AWS or other recognized warmblood inspection, (i.e. Hannoverian, Oldenburg). With an inspection score of 75% or higher with no score 5 or lower. AWS recognized USEF/USDF All-breed in-hand score of 75% or higher, with no score 5 or lower AWS recognized USEF/USDF All-breed Materiale score of 75% or higher, with no score 5 or lower Performance Scores from any one of the following; Must be from a recognized USEF recognized competition Dressage- 3rd level or higher with a 63% or higher Eventing- Preliminary level or higher maximum of 45 penalties without elimination, retirement or withdrawal Show Jumping- Any USEF section for level 4 or higher- placing 1-3 Combined Driving- Intermediate level or higher- maximum 55 penalties without elimination, retirement or withdrawal. Breeders Wavier: Stallions- A minimum of five (5) offspring that are AWS registered or recorded which has achieved a 75% or higher at an AWS inspection or other recognized warmblood inspection, (i.e. Hanoverian, Oldenburg), or any one of the above qualifiers. Mares- Same as above except only three (3) offspring are required Provide non-returnable pictures for identification, and advertising or promotion through brochures or website. A signed photo/editorial release from photographer is required (even if from the owner of the horse).
