Varnish
Self-declaration that the named products comply with the requirements
for paint and varnish as per BREEAM-NOR’s chapter HEA 9
This form must be filled out by the MANUFACTURER of paint and varnish.
It is important that the information given here is correct, and we strongly encourage thoroughness in
researching the extent to which emission testing and/or test reports show that the product complies
with the standards and emission limit values required by BREEAM-NOR. If in doubt, the manufacturer
should consult own internal and external experts. Providing incorrect and misleading information
can have legal consequences.
Once filled-out, the form must be signed by a legally responsible person for the manifacturer, such
as a technical director or a managing director.
EU’s Paints Directive (2004/42/CE) uses the following classification of paint and varnish. We kindly
ask you to use the same subcategories (a, b, c, l) in column 2 in the table where the product
information is declared.
