JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution.
Certified by the State of Florida in any core curriculum area, at any instructional level, or any area of Exceptional Student Education.
Two years experience with Windows based software programs.
Minimum of three years teaching experience.
Valid Florida Driver License.

To provide training and support for administrators and teachers using specific programs, allowing district-wide implementation of
the programs specified.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Knowledgeable in several areas of the curriculum as applicable: e.g., language arts, mathematics, science, or social studies.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Knowledgeable in crisis prevention techniques. Able to operate audio-visual
equipment; e.g. overhead projectors, VCR, computer, overhead computer projector, typewriter, copy machine. Ability to train groups
of teachers and to make presentations for administrators using effective verbal communication skills. Demonstrated effective written
communication skills for record keeping, report and memoranda writing.
Performance Responsibilities: Essential Functions
Assist with the organization, scheduling and implementation of a district-wide training program.
Provide basic instruction in the program components.
Continue professional growth by participation in staff development activities.
Promote the district-wide use of software/curriculum/material by conferring with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
Provide technical on-site assistance to building administrators.
Provide periodic status reports on extent and equality of district-wide and individual school implementation.
Travel throughout the district to provide training.
Facilitate the use of appropriate instruction strategies and materials that reflect each student's culture, learning styles, special
needs and socioeconomic background.
Fulfill the terms of any affected written contract and adhere to the Codes of Ethics and Principles of Professional Conduct of the
Education Profession in Florida.
Assist in the enforcement of all federal, state and district regulations, policies and procedures.
Monitor students in a testing environment.
Provide outstanding customer service, and use positive interpersonal communication skills.
Make all decisions and perform all tasks in accordance with Brevard Public Schools’ Organizational Values.
Ensure compliance with Board rules and applicable federal laws and regulations.

Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to
10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
