Today we celebrate
WANTED suitable items we can sell on our Christmas Table;
also empty jars of all sizes for our Christmas preserves and
pickled onions. Please if you have either or both they can be left
in the marked box left in Howesons. This table normally brings
in about £100.

THIS YEAR ST PETER’S RAFFLE HAS RAISED
£1163.66 FOR THE CHURCH and we want to say
thank you to everyone who has organised and patronise these
important fund raisers Sunday by Sunday.
VISITORS We want to welcome you. Please help us by
making yourself known to one of our priests or to Sr Mary
Joseph SC. If you are unfamiliar with our service, do ask for
help in following the Mass. Please join us for coffee after Mass.
CHURCH MEMBERSHIP FUND – when making a
donation during the Mass towards the daily cost of maintaining
this beautiful building, the mission and the ministry of the
Church, please use the Gift Aid envelope to be found in each
place, if you are a UK tax-payer. We can reclaim tax from the
Government at the rate of 25p for each pound you donate (at no
extra cost to you). Please write your name and address on the
envelope. (This does not apply to those of you already giving
regularly by Bankers Order or the old Envelope Scheme.)
AT MASS TODAY Fr Smith is at St Thomas at 9am, Fr
Philpott is at St Peter at 10am, Fr. Marr is at St James at
10.30am.
THANK YOU – to those who helped with the preparation and
serving of the Supper last Wednesday. Thank you Dorothy for
entertaining us with such professional ability, humour and flare!
Thank you to Howesons for a super Draw in aid of ACS. And
thank you to those from all three churches who helped to make
this evening a genuine ‘Parish’ event. ACS has benefitted by
£360.00 from the Supper & the Dedication Mass + the
CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE …. are vitally
important to the Lord and therefore they must be vitally
important to us. Let us all encourage them to see themselves as
fully part of the Church and ensure that they really do feel
welcomed and valued.
FR TREVOR JORDAN has been authorised to work as a
Catechist within our Mission Community, including any school
willing to receive his ministry. We warmly welcome him to this
teaching charism.
ALERT…ALERT….ALERT The Micah Moments are on
1st, 7th and 14th December. Thank you to Jenny Harvey
for pointing out the confusion. Members of CBS are especially
asked to support this devotion, not least because it will take
place in the Sacramental Presence of the Lord.
THE BIBLE STUDY is every Thursday at 10.30am in the
Cathedral Centre.
HOWESON COFFEE SHOP is currently open Tuesdays,
Wednesdays & Thursdays from 11am until 2pm. A good
selection of food is on sale. It as a good place to meet friends.
WALSINGHAM 2012 – our pilgrimage next year is from
24th – 28th September. Barbara is taking bookings now. £10
deposit required. Bishop John is leading us again.
