French verbs are grouped according to their infinitive ending (-er, -ir, and –re). This is also called subject-verb agreement. How to conjugate a regular –er verb : 1. Set up the conjugation chart (label and subject pronouns). 2. Drop the –er ending of the infinitive; you are left with the stem. Insert the stem into the conjugation chart, then add the regular –er verb endings… PARLER Sing.
