What is Kings Kids ?
King’s Kids is an after-school choir
program for children in grades 1-5. After
checking in and enjoying a snack, the kids
will learn songs and drama, as they
prepare a musical to present to their
friends and family. In addition to singing,
and learning basic musical principles, the
kids will learn powerful lessons that will
have a positive impact on their lives.
No audition is necessary. All 1st-5th graders
are welcome.
Schedule
King’s Kids will meet on Thursdays,
beginning September 10th, and will
conclude with a performance on Sunday,
November 22rd at 6:00pm.
Weekly schedule:
After school arrival-4:30pm – Check in,
snack, memory work, etc.
4:30-5:30pm – King’s Kids rehearsal
5:30pm – Parents pick up children

to text when students arrive and leave.

King’s Kids meets after school on Thursdays
until 5:30 at Bridges Christian Church in
Russell.
What is the cost?
There is no cost to participate in King’s Kids.
Is anything offered for parents or
guardians of King’s Kids participants?
Yes, there will be something offered for
parents or guardians who choose to bring their
children, and remain at Bridges Christian
Church for the duration of the King’s Kids
rehearsal.
Will King’s Kids meet during inclement
weather?
If inclement weather necessitates the
cancellation of King’s Kids, parents will be
notified via the BCC website, twitter, and text
messages.
Will transportation be provided from my
child’s school to Bridges Christian Church?
For those who need it, transportation will
be provided from the Russell, Raceland, and
Ashland school systems.
