Please ensure that you have completed the “Hotel accommodation form” available at the application page of www.biostatepi.org
and email it together with your application.
We recommend staying at the Hotel CastelBrando, which is also the course venue. However, students may book other accommodation, but should always book at least half board at the castle (see “ D. FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICES (WITHOUT STAY) ” in the accommodation form).
Accommodation is in a double room and costs 105€ - 115€ per day, including full board. A small number of single rooms can be booked at an extra charge on a first-come first-served basis.
Please read carefully the hotel accommodation form and fill it in according to your preferences.
That form contains important information regarding lodging expenses.
Participants are responsible for obtaining a visa to Italy, if necessary. The School urges applicants to contact the course administration as early as possible, if they require an invitation letter.
A cancellation arriving to the Summer School administrator before 15 th of May 2016 will entitle the applicant to a full refund of the tuition. A cancellation arriving after this time, but still before the start of the course, will entitle the applicant to receive a 50% refund of the tuition. In both cases the deposit fee (200 €) will not be refundable. In all other cases (including no-shows, premature departure) the tuition will not be reimbursed. Cancellation must be made in writing.
In the unlikely event that a course(s) needs to be canceled, the School will make this decision as early as possible and will notify the students. In no event will the School be responsible for costs incurred by canceled travel reservations.
