How to use social networks efficiently so as to promote MMSA events to the maximum,
including Facebook, Twitter, RSS Feeds, Blogging etc.
Presidents’ Workshop
A big and diverse association such as the MMSA consists of several roles, all of which require
different skills and levels of experience. This is your chance to know more on what the MMSA
presidential role consists of - a great opportunity to be informed about and to contribute your
ideas towards the MMSA's leadership. This will take up the form of a discussion and those who
attend will take a good look on how to run the executive policy together with the coordination
of the rest of the board, standing committees and members.
Corporate Identity
Corporate Identity need not be an abstract concept. It includes all the protocols and designs
that make an association unique and marketable. Without CI, an association would bit be
recognizable and its influence on society would be lost. In this workshop you'll get to know more
about MMSA's CI launched only a few years ago and actively contribute to setting up a complete
set of official guidelines for MMSA news as well as put forward ideas for change and
improvement.

Tips on programmes and applications that one can use to help with studying, organising your day,
taking notes.
Alumni Management
This year, the MMSA will be initiating its pilot project to bring together all its esteemed alumni into
one database. The project includes gathering alumni data, inform alumni about current events and
organising social events for alumni. The aim of this SWG is to have a brainstorming session on how
we can make the alumni subdivision stronger, and to come up with a plan of action to help the
Alumni Coordinator in this term and the terms to come.
How to make Meetings effective
Have you ever attending a meeting that was a waste of time? Join us in this small working group
where you can learn to make meetings more effective and productive in less time.

A discussion based on Present and future technology that is or will be used in hospitals around the
world. Inspired by the Health 2.0 protocol
Follow up and Feedback
The MMSA strives to improve the QUALITY of its projects day-in day-out. This is why we do our
best to gather all the necessary FEEDBACK and make sure to have adequate FOLLOW UP so as to
ensure that our aims are achieved. We are also striving to set LONG TERM AIMS so as to help
direct the MMSA and its events in the right direction and make our results as effective as ever.

Approaching Sponsors
When organizing an event, you must think if this event will be finnacially feasible and hence you
have to devise a plan to get the money. This plan must involve a way of approaching sponsors to
help you in the event. Is this always successful? Would you like to know how you can be successful in
doing this? Hence, join us in the small working group where you would be able to make things
happen

Statute, Bylaws and Protocols
No association can exist without a defining constitution or rules and regulations. In many cases
official guidelines are also in place to help ensure a standard and uniform practice by all the
members. This SWG will introduce you to the most important documents in MMSA administration
and will allow you to take an active role in updating and improving them. In this way you will help
make MMSA better and leave a lasting mark on the Association.
Old Student to Mini Doctor
It's all down to PROFESSIONALISM! Join us to learn about how to contact your superiors in an
appropriate manner - your approach is key to achieving! Let's discuss a good v.s. bad email and
practice skills needed to present yourself and MMSA in the best way possible. Becoming aware of
such skills will serve you throughout your student years and as you can imagine, even more so as a
doctor. It's time to transform from student to almost doctor!
Alternative Funding
You must know that there are other ways and means from where you can get funding for MMSA
events and also for your personal use (eg. for your travels etc) There are lots of them. Would you like
to know about them? Join is in the small working group and you will get to know other means of
funding apart from sponsorships.
