Overall goal of the survey is to evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of SCIP initiatives in Zambezia province through administration of a baseline and 5 year follow-up survey.

My contribution: Assessing the Association of Literacy and Primary Pediatric Care in Mozambique

Through use of the available survey, a cross sectional study using secondary data is being conducted with the goal of evaluating the association between literacy and health knowledge as it relates pediatric health outcomes. The survey is intended to be regionally representative and data is being collected throughout the fall of 2010. Analysis and interpretation is ongoing.
