Heart Gallery Polk County is proud to host the North Carolina Heart Gallery during the month of December 2014. The Heart Gallery is a traveling photography portrait exhibit meant to raise awareness about North Carolina’s children available for adoption. It features professional photographs of 24 children from around the state who are in the foster care system awaiting an adoptive home. A brochure goes along with the photographs telling about each child in the exhibit. The Heart Gallery photographs are on display in several locations around the county. Businesses and offices volunteering to display the exhibit include: Calvert’s Kitchen Macon Bank Studio Z Polk County Library Polk County Tag & Tax Polk County Planning and Zoning Bryant H. Womack Building Polk County Department of Social Services On Sunday, December 14th the following churches will be displaying the exhibit: Columbus Presbyterian Columbus Methodist Saluda Methodist On Saturday, December 20th The Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lynn will be displaying several photographs.
