September 25 — Plan Commission Basics.
Review the basic roles and responsibilities of
the plan commission, including comprehensive
planning, development review, policy
recommendations, and public participation.
October 16 — Town-County Relationships in
Zoning. Learn about town and county roles in
administering shoreland and general zoning,
pros and cons of administering a town zoning
ordinance, and the relationship between
comprehensive planning and zoning.
November 13 — Updating Your Comprehensive
Plan. Learn about options and requirements for
updating your comprehensive plan, and tools
and techniques for continuously improving and
keeping your plan up-to-date.
