Iowa Master Gardener Service Record—Allamakee County
Iowa Master Gardener Interns are required to complete 40 hours of volunteer service the first year. Master
Gardeners are required to complete a minimum 6 hours per year and attend 6 hours of continuing education to
continue as an active Master Gardener. (*Audience refers to the number of people reached through the activity or
project.) Hours need to be turned into the Extension office each year by November 15.

ISUE Master Gardener requires 6 hours of continuing education (workshops, classes, conferences, field days, etc.)
per year after the year of initial training. Report everything you have attended, even though you may have signed a
registration sheet at the program.
