This year’s Scholarship Application forms for the 2009-2010 academic year are available
at www.pks.org. A total of $60,000 is available with awards ranging from $500 up to
$5,000 each. We anticipate many awards to be given out this year, several having no
connection to need.
Many things have changed this year. Two separate types of awards are now available
with simplified application steps; NEED-BASED Scholarships and PARTICIPATIONBASED Scholarships.






Freshman in Good Standing are now eligible; joining Sophs, Jrs & Srs.
Financial back-up (taxes) are no longer required, although encouraged.
Economic situations have no bearing on Participation-Based applicants.
A Brother can apply for both awards by returning both application forms.
Chapter Advisors need only to provide a simple Check-Off form.
Application Forms and Chapter Advisors’ Check-Off Forms can be submitted
electronically, to scholarship@pks.org, even without hard copy signature.
Please note a strict cut-off deadline of April 1, 2009 will be observed.
