Session 2: Themed groups (Morning Session)
Participants will break into four groups. The sessions will be participatory and draw on insights from
several case studies (different case studies will be used in the morning and afternoon sessions):
Group 1: Designing and using baselines for complex programmes.
Case studies:
- Establishing Baselines in Diverse Programmes: Practical Action, UK
- Measuring the impact of media programming: lessons learned from baseline data. BBC

Session 4: Feedback session on Themed Groups
In this session participants will break into four groups based on the coloured sticker received from
Themed leaders. There will be four 15 minute presentations, and 5 minutes for a question and answer
session. The groups will move four times to hear feedback on four themes.
Participants to write the ‘1 big thing’ they have learnt from the day on the cards.

In this session participants will hear the four big solutions to M&E that have emerged from the day.

Pratt, INTRAC’s founding Director, and give a warm welcome

extraordinary 23 years and help us to celebrate.
