They take home the daily journal page to share with the family! Welcome to the Fall Session of Circle of Friends. Mrs. Sheehan will be the teacher and the class will be joined by Mrs. Damaso. We will have a weekly newsletter outlining the concepts we are working on during our time together. The program will have a weekly focus on a social, emotional and play skill, while encouraging independence. Some concepts that we will cover are: sharing, trying when something is hard, interrupting, perspective taking, listening with your eyes, accepting “no”. Most of the concepts will be reinforced with either a story or role play. We will “write” and illustrate a journal page each day that is specific to our weekly topic. The children will take their journal sheets home to share with you! Please send your child with a small snack and a drink. We are looking forward to a great session!
