Welcome to the Fall Session of Circle of Friends. Mrs.
Sheehan will be the teacher and the class will be joined
by Mrs. Damaso.
We will have a weekly newsletter outlining the concepts
we are working on during our time together. The program
will have a weekly focus on a social, emotional and play
skill, while encouraging independence. Some concepts
that we will cover are: sharing, trying when something is
hard, interrupting, perspective taking, listening with your
eyes, accepting “no”. Most of the concepts will be
reinforced with either a story or role play. We will
“write” and illustrate a journal page each day that is
specific to our weekly topic. The children will take their
journal sheets home to share with you!
Please send your child with a small snack and a drink.
We are looking forward to a great session!
Regards,
Mrs. Sheehan
