AGM: Our AGM was held in our clubrooms on Friday 4th December at 8.00pm. There was a very
poor attendance on the night around 32 members, including four players and two juveniles out of a
total membership of 137, very, very disappointing. Many topics were discussed on the night both
on and off the field from the financial report to our underage setup or lack of it. The following
officers were elected on the night.

U21: The final of the under 21 championship which was due to take place last Saturday night was
cancelled due to the weather and will now take place next Sunday in Darver with the throw in time
for 2.00pm.
Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 9th December at 8.00pm,
jackpot €1,800 in 48 numbers.
Leinster: Congratulations to O'Connell’s and Louth player Robert Quigley on being selected on
the 2015 Leinster GAA annual bursary scheme. At a ceremony at Áras Laighean Leinster GAA

Chairman John Horan awarded the funding to the 37 students from 11 counties who have been
selected in the 2015 programme.
Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 19th December in our clubrooms
from 9.00pm, Music by Footsteps, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.
Slimming World: Slimming World will be in our clubrooms every Monday from 7.00pm with
consultant Sharon 086-1631310.
