How to Nominate Nominations for the 2015 UQ Alumnus of the Year Award are to be submitted to The Alumni Friends of the University of Queensland Inc using this official Nomination Form. Nominations must include the following: 1. A completed Nomination Form (see attached); 2. A current professional reśumé /bio including all Civil and Military Honours and academic qualifications from all institutions; 3. A written statement (maximum 1,000 words) detailing why the Nominee deserves to be recognised as the 2015 UQ Alumnus of the Year; 4. One written reference; Nominations may only be submitted by a third party (internal or external) – not by self-nomination. Nominations may also include supporting evidence: awards, media clippings, electronic media footage, etc. Nominations that do not fulfil the above criteria will not be considered for this Award. Nominations close Friday, 1 May 2015. Late nominations will not be accepted. Award The 2015 University of Queensland’s Alumnus of the Year Award will be recognised at the Courting the Greats Award Ceremony in 2015. The UQ Alumnus of the Year will be acknowledged in media publications. The Selection Panel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the decision.
