in the ECS newsletter “for having
been awarded an artists grant to
study at the prestigious Vermont
Studio Center!” She was remembered
at that time as “our first artist in
residence when we held classes at the
Ethical Society, some 40 years ago,
for children, teens and adults.”

A donation to help defray costs will be accepted but NOT required.
7:45 PM Life and Art of Gloria Torrice-Part II
In Part II, Ms. Dix covers her mother’s colorful even flamboyant personal life
as an artist. Ms. Torrice was a classmate and friend of equally gifted
contemporary artists of her period, including Jackson Pollack. This will be
art history close and upfront. You do not want to miss it!
