Several other pre-sessional activities have been arranged by the St Mary's College Society. These events are listed on a separate programme. Research Students may (with the permission of the relevant Module Co-ordinator) attend any of the regular classes and seminars offered in the College and are required to attend those recommended by their supervisors. /... Academic Dress: Students of the University of St Andrews wear the gown appropriate to their Faculty for attendance at special University functions. So far as Divinity is concerned, those students who are already graduates may wear the gown of their own University, but with the violet cross of St Andrew on the left facing. For undergraduates in the M.Theol. and B.D. programmes the description of the appropriate gown is: Black stuff gown of knee length with short open sleeves and with violet cross of St Andrew (BCC 214 - Spectrum violet) on the left facing. Undergraduates in M.A. programmes wear the scarlet Arts and Science gown. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SKILLS All students taking Divinity modules are required to submit all coursework in wordprocessed form. Communications for most modules are via e-mail, and all modules also involve use of the internet. Should you require any training in the necessary skills in word-processing, e-mail and the internet the IT Services unit of the University offers introductory workshops on these skills. Students should ensure that they sign up and complete such a workshop unless they have already acquired these skills. Please be sure to sign up for them when they are announced. An e-mail will be circulated to students at the end of pre-sessional week. Please note that attendance is required for MTheol and Single Hons MA in Biblical and Theological Studies Students. You will only be allowed to submit work on MMS and pass your modules if you have attended these study skills sessions. Combined Hons and other Arts Students are welcome to attend.
