Thank you for your patience! Students: Homecoming tickets are on sale now at brunch, lunch and after school. You can also purchase online thru the webstore. If you purchase your ticket online you must bring your receipt to the treasurer to pick up your ticket. Sales end September 27. ***The Homecoming Dance is a semi formal event. Jeans are not appropriate. Appropriate dress for boys include collared shirts and non-denim pants. Appropriate dress for girls include nice pants, skirts, or dresses. Dress/skirt length can be above the knee or longer, but should be no shorter than mid-thigh. Homecoming Parade is Wednesday Sept 26 at 5pm, Downtown Clayton. Come and cheer on our team to Victory!!! Do you or your parents have a car they want to show off? A great way to do that is to be in the Homecoming Parade! Drive through the parade and show the City of Clayton your car! If you are interested, put your contact information and your full name on a piece of paper and place it in the folder outside of C-8. Do you think you have the voice for CV? If so, we are proud to present this years Clayton Valley Vocal competition! Sign ups will be held Thursday the 13 th and Friday the 14th in the quad at lunch. Sports First HOME JV/Varsity Football game this Friday. Men’s Soccer – there will be a meeting on Tuesday, Sept 18 discussing men’s soccer workouts. Attendance is expected for those who want to play. The meeting will take place at 3:15 in the quad. Boys Basketball – Meeting/Sign ups and open gym will be 3:15 -5:30 in the large gym on Tues 9/18 and Tues 9/25. Tryouts for basketball will begin in November. College and Career News Students please begin to check the Career Center section of www.claytonvalley.org !! ALL information regarding testing, test prep, college speakers etc will be on the website. Pg.1 The PSAT is being offered on the CV campus on Saturday October 20 th at 8am. Purchase your tickets at the treasurer’s office during brunch and lunch OR online through our web store - then take your receipt to the Treasurer to confirm your registration. Tickets are $25. JUNIORS can register beginning October 8th SOPHOMORES can register beginning October 15th. October 17th is the LAST day to register! PSAT Prep Seminar!! Sophomore and Juniors- begin to prepare for the PSAT during our 4 session workshop with AMES Seminars. Cost is $170 for all 4 sessions and classes will be held HERE at CVCHS. Dates: Saturday 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, (prep classes) 1/17 (review your scores after you take the PSAT). Flyers are available in the Career Center to sign up. Catalyst’s SAT Bootcamp is a momentum-boosting weekend seminar that arms students with go-to strategies for every question they’ll face on the day of the test!
